AFTERCARE
Leave your bandage on for 3 to 5 days
It is normal for blood and fluids to collect under the bandage.
A second application can be used for several days, and a third application may be used if necessary.
(If the bandage takes on moisture within the first three days please remove and move on to next step).
To remove bandage, get a hold of a corner of the bandage and stretch the bandage away from itself (like stretching a rubber band). This will help break up the adhesive and cause less discomfort when removing.
Once the bandage is removed, wash hands with mild liquid soap (liquid dial, or equivalent) rinse hands, reapply liquid soap in to hands, work into a lather and use that to cleanse to tattoo.
Use a circular motion with gentle pressure. Rinse with clean water.
When the tattoo is in its first few days of healing you may notice some shedding of pigment. This is normal.
After cleaning the tattooed area, allow the tattoo and skin to dry. You can pat dry with a paper towel or allow to air dry.
Apply a small amount of non scented moisturizing lotion.
I recommend Aveeno Baby lotion or Lubriderm lotion.
I do not recommend the use of medicated soaps, medicated lotions, oils, or ointments.
I do not recommend Aquaphor.
please reach out if you have any questions.
-Iād appreciate it very much if you could send a fully healed photo 3 to 4 weeks after your session.
